Marine Lighting & LED in Deerfield Beach, FL

The right lights change how a boat looks and how safely it runs after dark. We install marine LED lighting that survives salt air and spray, from underwater transom lights that glow through the Intracoastal to courtesy strips that keep the cockpit safe at night. At our Deerfield Beach shop we use sealed, corrosion-resistant marine fixtures and wire every run clean so your lights hold up season after season in South Florida water.

Ramsey has spent 20-plus years wiring lighting that looks right and lasts, on cars and boats alike. We plan every layout around how you use the boat, whether that is night fishing off Boca, dinner cruises on the Intracoastal, or lighting up the water at the sandbar. Every install is sealed, fused and backed by our one-year workmanship guarantee.

  • Marine-grade LED fixtures with sealed, corrosion-resistant housings
  • Underwater, courtesy, accent or hardtop lighting to your plan
  • Tinned marine wire, heat-shrink connections and proper fusing
  • Color-changing RGB options with switch or app control
Why It Matters

Why Boaters Add Marine LED Lighting in South Florida

Down here a lot of the best boating happens after the sun drops, when it finally cools off. That is exactly when good marine LED lighting earns its keep. Underwater lights draw baitfish and give your boat that unmistakable glow off the Deerfield and Pompano sandbars, while courtesy and cockpit lighting keeps decks, steps and grab rails visible so nobody takes a spill on a wet deck. Salt air is the enemy of cheap lighting: standard LEDs corrode at the connector, fog over and quit within a season. We use marine-grade fixtures with sealed housings, corrosion-resistant hardware and tinned marine wire so the lights stay bright through humidity, UV and constant spray. LEDs also sip power compared to old incandescent fixtures, so you can run them for hours at anchor without draining your batteries. Bright, sealed and low-draw is the standard every boat in Broward and Palm Beach deserves.

How It Works

Our Marine Lighting & LED Process

  1. 1

    Consult & Design

We map where light helps most, underwater, cockpit, hardtop, steps, and pick a color scheme.

  2. 2

    Spec Marine Fixtures

Sealed, corrosion-resistant LEDs and controllers matched to your boat and how you run it.

  3. 3

    Sealed Install

Tinned marine wire, heat-shrink connections and fused circuits routed away from bilge water.

  4. 4

    Test & Dial In

We set colors, zones and brightness, then run it and confirm every fixture is watertight.

Why Tint Station

The Tint Station Difference

Good marine lighting is about more than looks. Underwater lights genuinely improve night fishing by attracting bait and gamefish to the boat, and proper deck lighting is a real safety upgrade when you are moving around a wet, rocking cockpit off Fort Lauderdale at midnight. The difference between a install that lasts and one that fails by next summer is all in the details: sealed fixtures rated for continuous submersion, tinned wire that resists corrosion, heat-shrink connections that keep salt out, and fused circuits that protect your electrical. Because LEDs draw so little current, we can add a full lighting package without overloading your system, and we will right-size your power so nothing dims when the marine audio is cranked. Pair it with strong AGM batteries and you can run lights and sound all night at anchor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do marine LED lights really hold up in salt water?
Marine-grade LEDs do, because they use sealed housings, corrosion-resistant hardware and tinned wiring built for constant salt and moisture. Cheap automotive LEDs corrode and fail within a season on a boat, especially in South Florida humidity and spray.
Do underwater lights actually attract fish?
Yes. Underwater LEDs draw baitfish and the gamefish that follow them, which is why night anglers off Boca and Pompano love them. They also give your boat that signature glow through the water at the sandbar or the dock.
Will LED lighting drain my boat's batteries?
Not meaningfully. LEDs draw a fraction of the power old incandescent fixtures used, so you can run a full lighting package for hours at anchor. We size the wiring and often pair it with AGM batteries so your start battery stays protected.
Can I get color-changing lights I control from my phone?
Yes. We install RGB marine lighting with switch or app control so you can change colors and zones on the fly. It is a popular upgrade for the sandbar crowd and for matching your boat's look at the dock.
Is deck and courtesy lighting worth it?
Definitely. Courtesy lighting on steps, gunwales and the cockpit is a real safety upgrade on a wet, moving boat at night. It keeps guests from slipping and makes docking and cleanup after dark far easier.
Can you add lighting to an older boat?
Absolutely. We retrofit older boats with modern sealed LED fixtures and clean up the wiring at the same time. It is one of the most noticeable and affordable upgrades for boaters across Broward and Palm Beach.
Are your marine lights waterproof or just water-resistant?
The fixtures we install are marine-rated and sealed for their location, with underwater lights rated for full submersion. Just as important, we seal every connection with tinned wire and heat-shrink so water never gets into the circuit.
Where can I get marine LED lighting installed?
At our Deerfield Beach shop, and we serve boaters throughout Broward and Palm Beach County including Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach and Boca Raton. Call (754) 227-5156 to plan your marine lighting.
